What are some of your favorite eels? Pictures of them would be great! Gonna go with a clown trigger and a yellow belly dogfaced puffer

I'm a fan of the snowflake, I like their color and some have a good personality

I've heard stories of snowflakes going through bulkheads and pushing up lids to escape. Is there a way to prevent that?

That is true, though I believe that is true for almost any eel giving there anatomy and behavior. I would secure a type of heavy duty mesh cloth over any opening and make sure to weight down the lid. I know you could do a acrylic like hing an lock it on

Are zebra morays active swimmers? Or do they hide all the time

All eels tend to hide but From what I've observed zebras tend to hide a tad more it seems or atleast conceal more of their body than say a snowflake does.

Personally the golden dwarf moray is my favorite. Only gets about a 1'

+ 1 for the dwarf golden moray. Eels have a tendency to flip out and go on a killing spree, so a small one won't be able to do as much damage.
