Feeding Live Rock

Strangly, I couldn't find an answer on this topic.

My new live rock as a bunch of different organisms on it, what do I need to do about feeding the live rock organisms (ie: barnacles, feather dusters, aptasia, cucumbers, etc)? I couldn't find a thread on this anywhere.

I can tell you that I have a lot of life on mine and I have never actually fed it... If anything I clean it off a lot with a turkey baster to get the detritus build up off.. It gets what the tank gets when I feed the fish and corals... This feeds the entire tank.. however, I never make it a point to feed the LR...The feather dusters you have are not real demanding and will live through anything....Matter of fact, in a while, you may be having to kill them off a bit because they reproduce quickly...

You should be just fine without feeding it.. I asked the same question a long whil eback and got the same answer.. LOL now if your like me you can add a Very small pinch of flake if you kept the crabs and such lol All my stuff survived and is really thriving..

if ya using dt for ya corals thats all thats needed imo

Use the blender mush recipe to feed the tank and you will have all the food you will ever need for all creatures in the tank...
