Feeding porc puffer

I feed my puffer silversides and bay shrimp. When he eats the silversides there are no major physical changes to him but when I feed him the shrimp, after he's done he likes like he is hiding a golf ball in his stomach. Is this normal? Am I feeding him to much? I usually feed him 3 or 4 small bay shrimp cut into small easy to manage pieces.

You do not want to feed your puffer fish let alone fatty silverslides. It is not good for them and causes fatty liver disease . Shrimp , clams, mussels,scallops fresh from the supermarket are good as well whole frozen krill and jumbo mysis . Also always feed just so the stomach is slightly rounded.
