Feeding uncooked shrimp...

I have heard that you can feed uncooked frozen shrimp to your saltwater fish. However, the ingrediants for the frozen ones say they have salt and phosphates in them. Is this still ok?

The problem with the really fresh stuff is it can't be frozen since it already was frozen once.

What do you guys do to solve this? Right now my tank is getting frozen brine shrimp and some flake.

A lot of people buy shrimp and fish that is about to expire from the grocery store and blend it up and make their own food from it. Here is a good site for information on making your own mix.
