My long fin banner fish, God love him, keeps attacking my starfish. He ripped my sand sifter sea star open, and now he's going after my chocolate chip sea star. He leaves everyone else alone. What do I do? Lose the fish or the stars? I never knew the banner fish to be aggressive.

The Heniochus black and white butterfly looks almost identical to the schooling banner fish.

The schooling bannerfish is reef safe and shouldn't behave as you are describing.. The heniochus butterfly is not reef safe, I thought that was because of picking on coral.. They are omnivors and will eat meat also, whereas I believe the schooling banner is a planktivore
