I am still in the planning stages of my FOWLR (65 gal) tank. I really like the personality of the flame hawkfish. I have read that they aren't the best of friends with shrimp. Is this true? Are there certain shrimp that they would be less likely to gobble up? While I've got your attention I was also thinking about stocking with: 2 tank raised percula clowns, 1 firefish goby, 1 neon goby, 1 yellow watchman goby, and (if I have enough tank space left) one small blue hippo tang.

Your advise is always appreciated. Thanks in advance.

There are plenty of other fish with a good personality that will not eat shrimp. If you like a more camouflaged look you mike think of a lawnmower blenny or something similar... They tend to hang out on rocks and perch like the hawkfish.

Lawnmower typically eats nuisance (hair) alges in your tank... I believe most of the blenny's are non violent to shrimp...
