FOWLR first fish??

Some fish are not invert friendly. be sure to check before adding any. I have a flame hawk who apparently likes to much on shrimp and I have some fish that are eating my hermits, just not sure which fish is the guilty party. lol

You absolutely do not NEED clean up crew. If you keep control of your water, feeding, stocking and lights you shouldnt need creatures to eat algae.

Only get them if you like them.

I don't have a CUC per say. My Flame Angel, Blueface Angel and 2 Tangs seem to keep my algae under control. I have some green on the decor, but I don't have the hair algae problems. I also realize it takes a big aquarium to house those fish, so it's not a good option for everyone.

I've noticed that when my
Light is off my stripped damsel turn dark grey but after I turn the light on in about 10 min. They turn bak to bright white an black stripe??
