hi every one,
I am new to salt tanks, and am thinking about startin a FOWLR tank, 40 gallons and was wondering what lighting would i need? Also how much will i need? I've read around 40lbs but i dont know. All help is greatly appreciated!

You don't need any special light. Only enough to see your fish and they see to eat. Rock- a pound per gallon is ok. Just look for lighter, more porous pieces. Not super dense boulders. The boulders have less surface area, and water has less access to the inside of the rock, where you will have low oxygen zones to house anaerobic bacteria.
