I recently purchased a 180 gallon aquarium and am considering setting it up as FOWLR.

My proposed livestock is as follows:

6 blue damsels (or possibly green chromis)
1 royal gramma
1 blue tang
1 flame angelfish
1 rainbow wrasse
1 majestic angelfish
1 snowflake eel
1 Picasso trigger

What do you think? Good mix or recipe for disaster? Too many fish? Too few (yeah right)?

I know, I know, the trigger could be a problem... but many years ago a had a Picasso that had such a fabulous personality and I would love to have another!

And... what order do you think they should be introduced to the aquarium?

Thanks so much for any and all input!

You are right about the trigger. I would add it last. It might not get along with the angel or dwarf angel. It will definitely not get along with the royal gramma, as it is a basslet.

This chart should help.

Thank you, Sniperhank. I'm not that attached to the idea of having a royal gramma, so it could go. But I will need to think long and hard about the whole trigger idea as I understand that it's a risky proposition. I'm hoping that with adequate space and hiding areas that it would be workable.
