Fuge for FOWLR

Sorry all, but I couldn't seem to find a DIY for a fuge. Is there a post on what I would need and how to set up?

Thanks!

+++EDIT+++
Are they all HOB or can you build one to be under the tank?

+++EDIT+++
LOL! Well, I found some that are in the tank, but I am still wondering if one can be buit under the tank.....

Here is a thread that I found very helpful for a sump/fuge setup. I know it's not really a DIY but it's pretty darn close.

Yeah, I was actually looking at that the other day. I am still on the fence if I want to do that. How would the pods and stuff get back into the main?

Easy. You see the sump pump that goes back to the main tank? Keep the foam filter off that pump. When the pods trickle over the top of the fuge they end up in the main return section. One way or another they will end up in the main tank for your dining pleasure of the critters.

I'm about to do the same with a 55gal sump using the same design. HD had a hard time cutting my glass sections so I might have to revisit the heights.

Cool, maybe I'll try that too. I may go w/acryllic. I am going to try to use my 20G that is sitting around....if it will fit under my tank.
