Ganggai wont eat flakes.

Hi guys! I just put a Ganggai Cardinal into my 50 gal saltwater tank. I read that they might not eat flakes, he did not. I'm going to give him time to settle in this new environment but after a few unsuccessful feedings, I will have to get different food. Live food is best right? Is frozen shrimp acceptable? Man these Ganggai fish are awesome!

Do you really mean ganggai? Maybe you mean banggai? I have one, yes I also found that mine reluctantly goes for flake but frozen shrimp is taken immediately. In fact this morning I put a tiny amount of fresh mackerel in my tank and he was straight up for it.
