When is the best time to put a sand sifting goby in the tank? How do you know if there are enough nutrients for it to live?

Most tanks will become somewhat "established" at around 4-6 months but every tank is different. Youll just have to judge it yourself but a good sign is when you start to see alot of pods all over the tank.

Is this the same tank that has nitrites at 7 ppm and nitrates over 160? If it is, you don't need to slow down, you need to STOP AND BACK UP. Your tank isn't cycled yet.
