As the years go by my love for this hobby grows more and more. A recent trip to the Maritme Aquarium, in Norwalk CT, got me thinking about becoming a professional Aquarist. With a wife, 3 kids, and a job, I think the time has passed for me to get into marine biology, or some other field that requires college. Does anyone know about any books or learning material, that I can buy, to help me learn more about the craft? I realize that practical, hands on learning will give me the most knowledge. But books and other publications will help build a better foundation.

"The New Saltwater Aquarium HandbooK' (Barron's) is pretty good. There's a ton of books out there, many specialized, that are extremely helpful, but I've found no better colaborative resource than right here at AA.

The Concientious Marive Aquarist by Bob Fenner is a great read.
