i have a FOWLR tank but today noticed some algae growing in my tank next to some of my coraline, so i bought some grape Caulerpa it came in a bag that was floating at the store, after i placed the bag in my take i noticed it was just a big ball of long strands of this stuff, not one peice, so i got the clump, but it a big bowl of some of my fish tank water, tied a verry loose loop of fishing line around it then tied it to a rock which i placed in the back of my tank, every so offen i find a tiny strand caught in my power head, will it grow alright like this? ive never planted anything in the tank, iv had algea before but my emerald crab takes care of it. i wanted to use this versus a phosphate removing media. my refuge will be in the mail sometime this week, how do i plant it in the mud and keep it together?

You can put it between 2 pieces of egg crate, in your fuge.
