green hair algea
Hi all I seem to be having a problem with green hair like algea. Any suggestions on what I can do to get rid of it? It is starting to make my tank look bad. Thanks Sue

How much/what are you feeding?
How long are you running your lights? I have read some folks had sucess by using a toothbrush and siphon to help remove it. Be careful, because it can spread if you break it off. I took my rock out and scrubbed it in old SW.

Try to find the root of the problem which is probably nitrates and/or phosphates. Great article- http://www.aquariumadvice.com/articl...q=2&fldAuto=14
