I've looked at every HOB skimmer available online and can't "pull the trigger" to buy one! I have a 90 gal with 3 inch live sandbed. No live rock, a lot of dead rock, and 7 fish. Wet/dry filter, no sump. Water tests have been close to perfect. I want sparkling water and not just clear clean water. Tanks been up for almost 3 months. Is it time for a skimmer and WHAT SHOULD I GET?

Reef octopus makes really good skimmers there's tons if options on aquacave.com check it out

I have a Super Reef Octopus XP1000S HOB. Rated to 120. gal. It's a little large but works amazing

Thanks guys! I'm ordering a Reef Octopus. Thanks for making up my mind!

I bought the reef octopus b100 and love it. The directions are confusing but you can download the improved ones from their website. Tuning is easy it does involve air tuning only water input. I constantly pull out nice gunk out of my 60g.
