Happy Happy...new Protein Skimmer...well half of it at least
It came, it came...crud it's missing the pump!
I picked up an awesome Berlin Classic Protein skimmer from eBay for under $100 US it's in fabulous shape...(but the seller forgot the pump (oops) and is sending it) My Skilter broke (piece of poopy!) and I've been without a protein skimmer for what seems like forever. Thank goodness I've only got 2 fish that are still small (Porc. Puffer & N Trigger) otherwise my buddies would be history. My recommendation to anyone starting out, don't be tempted to buy a skilter because it's so much cheaper then the other protein skimmers. You end up spending more when you have to replace the stupid thing when it breaks after a year and a half.

I had a skilter for my first couple years and you are right.
