So we just set up our 55 gallon tank our neighbor gave us and we just noticed a crack!!! It's so close to the center. What should we do?!?!

Looks like the brace is cracked not the glass I can take off the brace and order a new one but that requires u draining the tank and wat not if I was u I would tape everything off and carefully silicone it

I would want to know what caused the crack in the brace? Was the tank handled improperly? What may the consequences be down the road if the tank structure was stressed? 
I would query your neighbor about how it got cracked.
