I got a 6 inch snowflake eel yesterday. He ate 1 feeder shrimp yesterday and 1 today at around noon. About an hour ago I looked in the tank and saw him in the process of throwing up the shrimp. Is this normal?

He might be choking on it maybe. I had one for a couple yrs and you are feeding too much. I would feed a store shrimp with the hard skin off. They need to be fed at the most every other day. That`s what I did with mine.

ok thanks. i wondered if that was too much. Its a small shrimp, i think its called a ghost shrimp. I guess the eel is pretty small too though.
