They are really small. When I first caught it, I thought it was a little seed or something but then I saw it move, and I saw little fins moving

It may not be a puffer, but it does puff up when it gets scared so it might be a box fish or a cow fish, I'm not too sure :/ I dont know a lot about these fish

Striped Burrfish (Chilomycterus schoepfi)

While yours doesnt look exactly like this one, google the burrfish. Most of those are very close.

Very cool find, by the way. Beautiful coloring and pattern. Why shop at the LFS? And it was quarantined in a really BIG tank.
