We need at least 3 more wavemakers and I am not sure which one to get. For our 75 we just need a little more movement. The first picture is of this one.
The second is for our 35 which needs a lot more flow! Since the last one died on us awhile back. I want a high quality one that will last. Our 35 is in rough shape. There is cyprobacteria that just won't go away. Feeding once every 2-3 days and tried keeping the lights off for 3 days. Syphoning it out daily with 15% water changes every 4-5 days. Our last choice before chemicals is more power heads (i think). We have no problems with our 75 and cant't figure out what we are doing wrong on our 35...

Another for our salt mix tank. Last week we went to plug it in and it started to smoke (underwater!) left horrible black sludge on top of the water and shocked my husband. Thankfully it didn't happen in our DT! That was a Petco king-160 so we want all name brand now any and all help would be greatly appreciated!

What size do you have in the 75 now? A koralia 750 or 1050 will give good flow.
In the 35 maybe a 550/750 it seems like a lot but it really isn't. I have 7000 gph in my 180gal. I use a 750 to mix my water for PWC's iv'e used koralia's for years only problems was when i used a wave maker, they would start backwards

Great thank you! I'm not sure how many gph the 75 has. My guess is no more than 700

Depending on what you have in the 75, you need alot more flow. I have 2-1050's, a 1400 and a 750. I have them on a wavemaker that only runs two at a time though. I set it up so that one in the back pushes water one direction and one in the front pushes the other direction, if that makes any sense. Water kind of flows in a circle. Then the wavemaker switches the other two on and the water goes in a circle the other direction. It helps keep the bad stuff suspended in the water and out the overflow.

Oh yes we need a lot more flow!! Not even close to enough. My husband really wants the reef keeper elite wave maker controller ($300+) we will wait and get a cheaper one until then. We will be ordering 4-6 off amazon tonight. Hopefully that should be enough

I have had great luck with my Koralia's... In my 55g, I have an Evo 1500 gph, Evo 550 gph, and a Nano 450 gph... Quite a bit of movement but gives me good surface agitation and plenty of flow around my 40 lbs of LR...
