Heniochus Black N White butterfly

Hey i want to get a heniochus black n white butterfly fish but i was reading about butterflies and some tend to eat inverts is that the case with this kind? I am pretty sure its peaceful just want to make sure thanks.

Questions arise first: What size is your tank and what inhabitants (fish and invertebrates) do you keep?

Got a 50g with 2 clowns and a few different kinds of crab n shrimp their peaceful

I wouldn't recommend getting one, as butterfly's need more room to swim. I am thinking your 50g is a "square" or box shaped aquarium? if so it is more in height and depth rather than length, and the butterfly's need the length as they need tons of room to swim.

I agree that these animals need much more room than you can offer at this point in time. As far as consuming your shrimp, most likely they will unless utilizing cleaning stations.
