hermits and snails

Hi I have 2 hermit crabs and 3 snails that were supposed to bepick up today because I'm switching to a bigger tank but they didn't show up so I was going to put the live rock in a rubermaid for a few days untill the new tank is up and running so I was wondering if could keep the hermits and snails in the rubbermaid? untill my new tank is up and running

they should be ok. you have a heater and power head in the rubbermaid, correct?

Yes I'll be Puting one a heater and powerhead just taking down tank now thxs
