Hello, all. I am planning on setting up a FOWLR tank in the 75-90 gal range, using a sump/refugium. I live on Long Island and was hoping to find someone locally who has a similar setup and would let me have a look at their setup. I intend to put the tank in my living room and really want to get a feel for the noise level and potential "splatter" on the wall behind the tank. If anyone has a tank available for viewing, or can at least provide some information/advice, that would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Eric

there won't be any splatter on the walls behind. go with the 75 over the 90. the fish won't use that extra few inches at the top, and if you have to reach the bottom, it's easier in the 75.
buy a reef ready tank also.

Thanks, Doug

Good to know. Do you have a similar setup, and can you tell me how noisy it is?

Thanks,
Eric

i've had a few tanks. i had a 75 that wasn't noisy at all. it barely sounded like one of those tranquility fountains they sell for relaxation.
it's all in how you set it up.
