Horned Blenny

I have a horned blenny and was wondering what to feed him. He's been in my tank for about 2 weeks and seems to be doing okay but I want to be sure he's getting enough to eat. I feed mysis shrimp, marine cuisine and flakes. Is that enough? The cleanup crew eats the rest. I also have about 25 lbs of LR and LS substrate.

He needs vegetable matter, not shrimp. See this....

If he is feeding flakes then get him some spirilina flakes.

Is the spililina in Marine Cuisine not enough? I'll get that tomorrow when I go to the LFS.

He seems to prefer the shrimp. I thought that was strange too. But, he seems happy and healthy so far. I just want to be sure.

I `d say a variety would be good but lean to the veggie side alot as that is what they like and is good for them.

not sure what species you have (there are a lot) but my new unidentified blenny loves formula2 pellets.
