It matters, do some PWC till you get 8.2ph, 8.2 is where you should have it.

Lower it from what? Keep in mind that Ph will change through out the day, according to the light cycle. If you are testing in the evening when the lights have been on all day, it iwll be a bit higher. Try testing in the morning after the lights have been out all day and see what the reading is.

Lando is exactly right. That`s why it`s good to check different times of day. But if it was too high you would do the same thing that you would do if it was too low. PWC,PWC and PWC.
