How much filtration is enough

75 gallon have Ehiem G90 275gph. Need more?
 
I guess your real question was if that filter would be enough. I'm not familiar with them but I assume its rated for a 90g tank. I think that would "be enough" (depending on your stock and bio load) but most people like to filter at twice the tank rating. So for a 75g, would mean having filtration rated for 150g.

I'm not sure what the gph ratio is so someone else may want to chime in.
 
I agree on my 150 I have a fluval FX5 rated for 400 gallons. But I have been reading on these filter and they are rated very well with very good reviews. On the 150 I have a bh300 reef octopus skimmer and a 36w coralife turbotwist uv sterilizer. But according to what I have researched on the ehiems with proper skimming they have worked for many people.
