I have a small rock beauty angel and a small French. They seem to always be hungry, so I feed them and they eat... But I am having problems with nitrates and algae. How often should feed them in order to keep my tank parameters where they should be?

( They are both about 1.5 inches)

You do have a very large tank, right?

From LiveAquaria.com
"The Rock Beauty Angelfish is difficult to sustain in a home aquarium because of its dietary requirement of sponges. The diet in the aquarium should include vegetable matter such as marine algae and Spirulina, finely chopped meaty items, and high-quality angelfish preparations containing sponges. "

If you're having trouble with nitrates and algae, chances are you're feeding too much. You can cut it to once every other day and they'll be fine. It will also help with nitrates and algae, along with water changes using ro/di water.
