I bought two emerald crabs and about 2-3 days later one died

Ok so last week I bought two emerald crabs and about 2-3 days later one died, I flushed it. Well now there are again two emerald crabs in my tank and one is huge compared to the ones i had purchased. How did this happen did it have babies or what!? I'll post picks when they come out!

A lot of inverts will shed their skin when you move them over to a new environment from what I've read. The shed skin will look a lot like the real crab as well (but sometimes the skin will be eaten by something else in the tank before you even know it happened).

Glad to hear everything is good!
