Hi I picked up a 150g tank for a deal which is dirt cheap. I paid $200 and got 150lbs of rock (3 tubs with 50lbs in each), Nova Extreme 4 bulb t5 48", Tank, stand, canopy, over $400 worth fake coral ( I see some pieces go for $30-100 at my LFS), protein skimmer, heaters, nets, food, books, Phosban reactor, 48" strip light. I'm sure all of this adds up to $1500 at least as the tank costs $500 stand is $400 and canopy was $300 at the LFS he bought his stuff from.

Congrats!!! That is a steal, I bet you're glad you caught that! I am following. :)

Yep I sure am. I'm trying to post pictures but it won't let me :(

Ordered 160lbs though right now from reefrocks.net and it's priority mail. For $60 only too

Man, I thought I did well with my lfs owner who sells me equipment at his cost plus shipping. I need to shop with you in the future. Congrats.

Here are the pics thanks to redsea

You should get a photobucket account and link your images from there. Then you can upload larger images so we can blow them up. there is no size limit this way.

Very cool, (y).

Thanks! Picking up 150lbs of cured liverock Sunday from a guy taking down his 180g. His rock doesn't have any Coraline from the picture though. I hope to have the tank up and running this weekend with rock. Then move over fish from my 75g by Feb. 10th since I should have little to no cycle.

I Love a 150 gallon cubeish tank. I plan to get one when I move into my new house. But I may end up going with a 125 so I can keep some tangs happy but we will see haha. What are you going to stock it with?

If you want a cool puffer google bird beak burrfish .

Wow he looks cool. I forgot about puffers. I may get a porcupine since I don't know where to get the burrfish

My Lfs has them all the time they are really cool. Their dealer told them they were porcupine puffers so thats what they had them labeled as. I filled them in on what it really is.
