Im upgrading my tanks to a 30 gallon. What are great hardy fish to add?

I like blennies but I got a scooter blenny. Can they be compatible?

Yes they are. A scooter blenny is actually a dragonette, not a blenny at all. Just like the mandarin goby is a dragonette. You shouldn't see any problems. I have had a firefish goby, a bicolor blenny and a scooter blenny and had no problems. Although your 30 gallon may be too small for a scooter due to its diet.

Problem with the scooter is feeding. If they arent an prepared foods, they will starve like the mandarins.... I had a red scooter and didnt know that and he starved to death.

I tried to have a "pod" tank for my scooter but it did not work. :-( Never generated enough food for the guy. BUT I did get mine on prepared foods, took about a month though and luckily I had pods already so he didn't starve in the meantime.

I have a scooter, mandarin, firefish, clowns, a yellow watchman goby and a citron goby and they all get along fine by the way.

I have a mix of many different saltwater fish amongst my tanks, but I love my Tangs most of all.

I would also like you to address what type of fish are hardy and easy to care for.
