Is my base rock seeding

Just curious if my base rock is seeding off my live rock. I'm pretty sure second one has diatoms on It tho

Diatoms are a part of cycling and not so much related to seeding live rock from other rock. Seeding is not something you will actually see, so to speak. The life that would transfer from established rock is microscopic and mostly bacterial.

It's safe to say that the process is occurring naturally in your tank. No need to worry.
