Is my tank maxed.

Yeah lion can eat anything 6 inches or smaller pretty much. And with a 14 or 15 inch lion I don't really need a fish over 6 inches.

I know better now but luckly I passed up on the coral grouper about 4 months ago. Lol

Ok since this post has been so helpful. I am now going to look more ignorant. I have not been running powerheads. I now know I should. I was told I did not need to with a fish only tank. So I will buy them tomorrow. In want 2 what sizes. I seen 2 different ones. One was a marineland 600. The other was a 750. Don't remember the company. The 600 was $29 the 750 was $63. They both say they move about 750 gph. I guess.what do I need to look for. Why such a big price difference

You definitely need powerheads ...They do a lot of things,,oxygenate the water for one..They also give the fish flow to swim in ..
Not sure of the marinelands ,never used them ..I would get at least a couple of these

I have 2 1400s in a 150 reef Nd it works so in a 55 you would definitely be fine for flow lol. And the koralias are really good.
