Is this ok to use

I got a water conditioner for my tank when I first got it can I use it when putting it into fresh water for adding to the tank after evaporationClick image for larger version

You shouldn't need a conditioner if you are using ro or ro-di water water for top offs and if your tank is a reef tank you should be using the best water anyways

I agree with the above post, if you are using ro.di water you dont need any conditioners.

I have a mix of many different saltwater fish amongst my tanks, but I love my Tangs most of all.

Not so much for the tap water but it helps the fish like giving them a protective shield from getting sick

I have never, not once used a conditioner in any of my salt tanks and never had any issues with slime coat.
