Light Cycle w/Actinic

I just got the nova extreme lighting kit. It has 2 HO lights and 2 Actinic and lunar lights. My question is, can I run the Actinic in the morning, before the HO lights come on, or do they have to come on after the HO lights turn off? Also, how long should I run the Actinic lights, a few hours. I'm not planning on any corals.

by the way, they will match prices w/online stores.....

I do...

8am actinics
830am 6700k/actinics
8pm actinics
830pm moonlight

but really its up to you on your lighting cycle. most common is the 12 hours cycle.

Hmmm, cool so only about 30mins. That sounds resonable. Kinda helps them wake up and go to sleep.

I also bought this:

I had all kinds of problems figuring out how to get it to work. It seems they should have put more thought into the design. 1st, it's a pain trying to click up all the little timers. 2nd, the fan and lunar light plugs are wide, so I can only plug two things into the always on side.

I ended up putting the Actinic lights on my digital timer because I got aggrivated! LOL!
