Lighting Question
I have a FOWLR 75 gallon tank with about 70lbs of live rock. My All Glass hood came with a flourescent light bulb that I am thinking about replacing with either a Coralife 50/50 or Hagen Power~Glo.
Does anybody have any sugestions which is a better choice for my tank? What I am looking for is something that will bring out the colors in my fish and then possibly help the growth of coraline algae. The Coralife 48" Flourescent bulb 50/50 is 50% natural day and 50% actinic 6,000k. The Power~Glo is I believe 20,000k and is said to cover a wide spectrum of colors. I believe there is also one called Sun~Glo which is about 10,000k but I don't know if it is recommended for saltwater. Any help would be appreciated. |

I have [b] on my 55 and love it. The k rating is the white to blue, the higher the rating, the more blue. Personally, I would go with the Current, over the Hagen. I haven't heard anything on the Hagens...
