My live rock is starting to get light to lime green spots all over. The spots don't appear to be slimy or a hair algae.. Rock has been in tank for a Lil over 4 weeks..what could this be? I think it is a Lil to early for it to be coralline algae

Tried to get a pic but u can't really see the spots too well

Any ideas?

Awesome...isn't 4 weeks a Lil too soon to be havin a coralline bloom? Although my hermits shells are covered in pink coralline algae. I Thought it took many months to experience a coralline algae bloom, thanks for the reply

Coralline

Coralline growth is really more dependant on lighting and water parameters, rather than any kind of time line. If there is something in the tank to seed from, it can start quickly, as long as lighting and water are favorable for its growth.
