live rock queston ????????/ ( power head)

Should a person point powerhead at live Rock ? or should it not be pointed directly at it? Thanks

BY pointing it at the LR it will cause if the rock has coralline algae on it to spread. So it can be a god thing.

If your curing the rock its good to have a agressive current on the rock. This will help blow away any dead/dieing material.

If your talking about rock that has already been cured then having a decent current around the rock will help keep things from settling onto the rock like fish waste as well as undesirable algae.
