Live Sand???
Would 40lbs. of live sand be enough for my 55 gallon FOWLR and a 55 gallon reef tank?

No I dont think so but just get some regular sand for both tanks and split the LS in both tanks and it will seed the regular sand.

40 lbs will get you a good 2-3 inches. thats what i had in mine. alittle thin for two tanks.
