Im thinking about rigging an ultraviolet led strip on a separate light timer at night to give the fish a moon phase, would it be ok to have this go off nightly? and for how many hours?

I've been wanting to do the same thing to have to have some light in the tank at night!

I just dont want it to be to overpowering for my fish i want it to be natural, im thinking about using true lumen LED strips, anybody have experience with these?

Check out the r2 moonlights. You can also get a moon phase controller to go with it. I have one and it is very cool. Only 60 bucks for full set.
