i know of a store in my area where i can buy macro, its a bag of mess, mainly grape calpurn, if i get this throw it in my sump and forget about it, whats the worse that could happen, is it going sexual on me that much of a bad thing? i plan to go in and cut it down some, its a tangled ball, and untangling it is difficult out of water and a pain in water so cutting it while tangled i might make a mess of things leaving small pieces floating around.

I keep it in my fuge. If it does go sexual on you it will turn your water white and I have seen it wipe out a tank. To keep this from happening you need to keep it pruned and lighting on the fuge 24/7.

If you can get chaeto you'll be better off as it doesn't have the problem of going sexual.

ive kept the light on 24/7 it does not bother me too much at night, the light i have above my fuge are 2x 7" 13watt 65k lights.

my emerald crab does not seem to touch what i put in the main tank, i thought she would eat it.
