Moonlight too bright!

I have the Marineland 17" blue led moonlight/accent light. The only way I can use it as a moonlight because it's too bright is to have it angled back towards the wall, and with it that way, it only shines light on the back of the tank. Is there a film I can wrap around to diffuse the light, or get a dimmer or something? What works?

Try coating or painting the Perspex that covers the light? If they have one.

put a strip of household screen over the light it will dim the light use as many pieces as you want i use it to acclimate my coral 4 or 5 strips will knock down a lot of light the nylon stuff works best IMO
