my heater exploded

Try a titanium heater. I had the same issue with one of mine.

What kind of heater? I know there's a recall on MarineLand heaters. Saw them all pulled from the racks at LFS's with a memo in it's place.

it was a marineland pro stealth and they already got back to me saying full refund.my question is is my water good or will i have to recycle when i buy new fish

I have a 300 watt aqueon heater and it works great. No problems with it so far.

I have a 200w aqueon, It's ok I liked it b/c it was fully submersible, but titanium makes more sense when your talking about conducting heat as opposed to plastic.
