My little Chocolate Starfish - Aquarium Advice

My little guy keeps trying to get out. do i just let him? what should i do? knock him back down/??

Is he going to the top and leaning back once he gets to the top of the tank? A lot of starfish do this, but are not climbing out of the tank. If you are really worried, just cut some egg crate or something to close the top off.

He will not climb out. They just go to the surface and bend their legs back and feed for microbes at the surface.

my choc chip starfish spends most of his time doing exactly that. Hanging out at the top with an arm hanging out.

I think these guys are so awesome they know when its feeding time cause he sticks his arms out to catch food whenever i feed the fish. its awesome. somtimes i just stick the clam right in his mouth
