My tank at 2 months!

I started my first sw tank about 2 months ago... Well, here it is

Very nice, I like the coraline algae. I have to ask are those 2 anemones in a 2month old tank? Must be a nice sized tank too by the look of the fish you have in there

55 gallon but I'm getting a 125 for em pretty soon... For 2 months my tank is advanced ( not the rule but the exception ) in which I paid heavily for... Plus I got 4 bulbs on it and a 125 gallon protein skimmer

I want Coraline ... Looks reeally nice...How can I grow it... My tank has been running for 3 months... Everything is at zero.. Except phosphate that creeped up on me

I paid 6$ a lb for premium live rock that was already covered put about 30lbs in after a month purple up once a day for 5 days then after 5 days two day rest then purple up once every other day skip Sunday's

Oh ok... Does that harm fish or coral in tank?

No but it leaves the tank cloudy for a couple hours and leave your skimmer off when u add it

Get something called "purple up" . I have heard good thing about it. It somehow adds coralin le algae supplements to the tank. Or just buy some live rock with a lot on it. You need good lighting though..

You should test your calcium. You might be adding too much calcium. I wouldnt add without testing. Your gonna have problems.

Lots of people say that purple up can be bad for your tank, just saying you might want to research it a bit in the forum. I think I'm seeing aptasia on your LR, you should burn it of if it is.

Ya just got some shrimp for the aptasia but I think I need some more... Purple up is bad if you OD it... But so far so good

Peppermint shrimp may or may not go for bigger ones but you can always burn them off with a lighter if not
