I got some Nassarius Snails on saturday and I was just wondering are they suppose to dig under the sand? If so why do they do it?

Just their nature I believe. Helps keep the sand bed aerated. They'll come out when theres food around ;)

Yup, they graze on stuff in the sand. I love those little guys!

They could be mixed with other Snails right? Becasue I have 7 snails one being I believe a TurboSnail and the 6 new Nassarus Snails? I want to get some more... and maybe a few more Hermits

I have a mixture of nassis, ceriths and margaritas.

Yep, watch out for bumble bee snails as they can eat other snails.

I've been adding 6-10 a month to my tank for the last couple of months. I'm going to have to add more as I lost several in the dual tank disaster.

It's fun to watch the looks on people's faces as the sand actually moves. I just got a bunch for my tank too.

I just got 4 for my tank as a trial run...in a month or so I'll add another 4-6.
