got all the plumbing done on the sump and its running great, its more noisy than I thought but its in the entrance to my house so no big deal, now looking to get the protein skimmer and RO/DI device.

Few questions.

-For now I still have the fluval 406 running but I will probably remove it, should I put carbon or any other kind of chemical filtration in the sump?

-What goes in the refugium? more sand and live rock?

I bought the RO/DI filter and added some more rock, I did a water change and the parameters are good.

I threw in some little damsels since I probably wont be getting bigger fish for a month or two and I need to get more rock.
I am setting up an old 20G tank as kind of a holding tank so I will keep the damsels in there or just take them back.

Looking to get a yellow tang as my first fish and I want to make sure the tank and water is 100% ;)

Yellow tang are aggressive and will be trying to fight almost every fish you add to the tank after him.. He also killed a sailfin tang and foxface of mine by stressing him out.. He just wouldn't leave him alone.. Yellow tangs should be one of the last fish you add to your tank.. And if you want 2 they should be added at the same time..

I didn't know that, I will make sure to add them last, are blue tangs aggressive as well?

All tangs should be added towards the end of your stocking. Hippo tangs can be jerks too. Just remember all fish have distinct personalities. One persons hippo may be much more mellow than the next.
