New 30 gallon tank

Im about to start up a 30 gallon saltwater tank.Is there any problem transferring my rocks and sand into my new tank?? The tank Im taking it out of is a 6 month established tank.And what is the max amount of fish I can put in it?

Maximum amount of fish would depend on what fish if its reef or fowlr etc etc. you can transfer rock and as long as its not a deep sand bed should be fine to transfer but I would still let new tank cycle for a bit before adding new fish
