At 4ft head height (distance from sump to tank) the Rio 2100 would only put out 360 gph, not 650. Plus you really don’t want too much flowing through your sump or else you will get bubbles in the main tank. It can be controlled via baffles or a sponge pre-filter but for a 72 gal I’d try to stick between 500 to 800 gph for flow through your sump and use ph to supplement the rest of the flow.

Ok, I'll go with the Seio then. I am going to remove some of the live rock and bury the pump underneath.

I hope you mean behind and not below 8O

That will work but make sure it's not too close to the sand! You would get better results (ie: currents) just placing them 2/3 up and at each other but it will probably look better behind.
