New FOWLR tank...

Do you need a protein skimmer on a 40 gallon hex FOWLR tank down the road?

I have a backpack style one that was given to me. Just wondering if I need to plan on installing it.

I added one to my 55 FOWLR and the water has never looked better. If you got it for free go for it.
